Maintaining your confidence in God

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

Deuteronomy 1:26-27

Nevertheless you would not go up, but rebelled against the command of the Lord your God;  and you complained in your tents, and said, ‘Because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.

These words were spoken by Moses to the Israelites when they refused to go and take the Promised Land out of fear of the giants they saw there. They had witnessed His miracles in bringing them out of Egypt, and seen the pillars of fire and of smoke; they had been through the Red Sea, but when it came to trusting Him to put down these latest enemies, they backed off.

He had proven that He was for them, but they couldn’t follow through on the Word He gave them for one simple reason: they complained in…

Your house will be filled with laughter

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

Proverbs 24:3

Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;

God’s plan for you is that your house is filled with laughter and your family is at peace. Whatever things are like at home right now, God can take you there! Take note of these few simple keys that will bring resolution to some of the greatest strategies of the enemy to divide us in our most precious relationships.

Firstly, as a married couple, pay attention to growing together. One of the subtlest ways that we drift apart, even when we think we have a good marriage, is when we develop at different rates. One spouse is reading the professional journals, and the other is playing computer games. One is praying, and the other is too busy!

When your two legs are different lengths you walk with a limp, but when they are even, you…

2018: A better season than ever before is on God’s prophetic calendar for you!

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

Zechariah 4:6

So he answered and said to me:

“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.”

This is the Word of the Lord to us for 2018: This is the start of a new season in our lives when “It is not by might nor by power, but by my spirit says the Lord of hosts.”

In Bible numerology, the number 8 is the number of new beginnings and the number 10 is about restoration of order. The woman was bound for 18 years, but order was restored as she was loosed from her infirmities. 18 was also the number of judges that Israel had before there was a king.

This year you are going to have to confront things that need to be shifted as order will be restored in your life…

2018- The Year of Grace Exploits

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

1 Peter 4:10

Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. (AMP)

How is 2018 going to be different from 2017?

This is a great question! How can we be sure that God will bring new things to pass this year? Especially if the cycle of sameness that we are experiencing seems unrelenting.

The first reason is that God has a calendar to which He is working, and when He says something will be done, nothing can thwart Him! Preachers and church leaders have tried to narrow God and put Him in a straight jacket. My job this year is to break Him out and release Him…

How God views our tears

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

2 Timothy 1:3-7

I thank God, whom I serve … as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day, greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.  Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Timothy was a mixed-race boy. Back then, as now, they had racial problems in the church that Timothy was pastoring; the people didn’t want to accept him. When he found that out, Paul wrote to him…

De islam als rechtvaardiging voor meedogenloze criminaliteit

(Door: Stefan Schubert – Vertaling: E.J. Bron)

Marokkaanse jongeren in Amsterdam schoppen hondje dood!

eunmask

Don’t fear the lion wannabe

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

I wonder if you, as a believer, are waiting for the day of judgment to come in fear and trepidation about what God will say about all the times you missed it, and the times you failed to obey Him. If that is the case you haven’t understood that the day you became born again, everything changed.

That very day was the day your were judged!

Jesus Christ was your substitute, taking the punishment for all your sin, and you were judged right along with Him. The day you received Him, you immediately shared in His death. It is no longer you who live, but Christ who now lives in you since you also shared in His resurrection from the dead.

You are…

Why depression can’t take you out

Secrets Of The Winning Edge

Exodus 33:18-19

And Moses said, “Please, show me Your glory.”

Then the Lord said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.”

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you have an appointment with the glory of God in your future. You don’t have to wake up fearing the day, and you need not allow depression to sit on you; you can be confident knowing that the Lord will show you His glory.

The glory of God is synonymous with His goodness. Being able to come out of debt. Being able to stay alive when they said you should have died but God adds more days to your life. Recovering from a terrible tragedy that came to cripple your spirit and becoming a champion for God. Rising up again in spite of bankruptcy. God taking away the…
